KED Energy is pleased to share the successful deployment of fast EV charging infrastructure at Punggol Golf Driving Range, providing visitors with convenient and efficient charging solutions while they enjoy their leisure activities.

Project Overview

As part of KED’s ongoing expansion of Singapore’s EV charging network, the Punggol Golf Driving Range project demonstrates our capability to deliver high-performance charging solutions within a recreational environment. The installation enhances user convenience and supports the broader push toward sustainable mobility.

Scope of Work

KED installed and commissioned 1 × DC120kW Fast Charger and 1 × DC60kW Fast Charger. Both chargers operate on the CCS2 standard, ensuring wide compatibility and fast turnaround charging for EV users.

Deployment Timeline

The project was completed within an estimated four-week period, covering Site Assessment & Power Study, Engineering Design & Approval, Installation & Infrastructure Works, as well as Testing, Commissioning & Final Activation. This efficient deployment reflects KED’s streamlined technical processes and strong project coordination.

Challenges Encountered

During the execution phase, the team overcome several on-site challenges including Space Constraints, High Visitor Footfall and Extended Cable Routing.

Outcome

The completed installation offers golfers the convenience of charging their EVs while practising, enhancing the overall user experience. The site now forms part of KED’s expanding fast-charging network, contributing to Singapore’s sustainable transport ecosystem.
